Pete and Rachael were all about having a good time. From the second we met up, it was clear they were just ready to soak in the experience and be fully present with each other. We kicked things off in Summit Meadow, where the last of the wildflowers were hanging on in the open grasses. It was a calm, dreamy start before we made our way up to Taft Point.
The hike to Taft Point overlook is always an adventure. We stopped along the way to snap some photos, take in the insane views, and just enjoy the moment. But no photo or description can prepare you for that first step out onto the edge. You think you know what it’ll be like, but standing there, looking out over Yosemite Valley with nothing but sky and granite cliffs stretching for miles — it’s unreal.

One thing about these two ... they weren’t shy about showing their love. Holding each other close, laughing like no one else existed, and soaking in every ounce of this experience together. As the sun melted into the horizon, they exchanged private vows. After the last bit of light faded, we hiked back under a sky bursting with stars.
